Berry's Luxury Ice Cream

Not all ice cream is created equal as Berry’s Luxury Ice Cream proves. Designed with adults in mind (though there are plenty of young children who would swap their Mr Whippy for a lick of Berry’s Salted Caramel ice cream!), the range is glamorous and grown-up with flavours that excite and delight!


Berry’s, based in the heart of the Three Counties, has been creating and perfecting ice creams for over 30 years. Formerly known as Just Rachel’s, the brand was bought by Frank and Fenella Kenyon-Slaney in 2020.

The story began back in 1980 when Rachel Hicks began producing a small range of ice cream using 100% cream and natural products.


Keen to build on the Just Rachel’s reputation for excellence, Frank and Fenella began collaborating with award-winning chef, Sue Stinchcombe. Together they have developed a range of luxury ice creams, hand-made and hand-poured using rich dairy cream from a local herd of Herefordshire cows,  and the juiciest locally-grown fruits where possible. A commitment to using only natural ingredients means there are no emulsifiers, no stabilisers, no gums, no artificial colours or flavourings.

Flavours include Gooseberry & Elderflower; white chocolate & Raspberry, Honeycomb, Great Taste-winner, Damson & Sloe Gin, Rhubarb and Ginger Crush.

Further developments include a range of vegan/dairy-free ice creams (the Lime & Coconut Liqueur is a must!) and refreshing sorbets including Raspberry, Mango and Gooseberry & Elderflower.



There is also a range of frozen desserts that are cooked by Berry’s chefs for you to pop in the freezer for when you’re running short of time. They include favourites such as Passion Fruit Roulade, Pear Frangipane Tart, Chocolate Profiteroles and Gooey Ginger Torte.

The commitment to excellence was rewarded this year when Berry’s was crowned a winner in the 2022 Three Counties Food and Farming Awards.
